Michelle Lew

Founder, lead planner

I decided to start Lavender Crown after working as a wedding and events coordinator at a handful of venues across the Bay Area. I’ve been wedding planning since 2017 and absolutely love every part of it! I have a Bachelor’s in Business Psychology from Penn State and I’m currently studying at Santa Clara University for my MBA. When I’m not planning or studying, I’m with my dogs (check out their IG @NewCheeseLand), going out to eat, or soaking up the sun!

Sara Waldrop

Coordinator

I started working with Lavender Crown Events in the Spring of 2021 as an assistant coordinator and gained lots of experience since then. I attended Arizona State University where I studied Tourism and Recreational Management with an emphasis on Special Events. Prior to Lavender Crown, I specialized in organizing nonprofit events for a local brewery. It's safe to say that event planning is one of my passions. Aside from wedding planning you can find me at the gym, or relaxing at home. I'm obsessed with food, wine, and caring for my plants. I enjoy spending time by the water and the sun, quality time with friends & family, and going out to nice restaurants.

Hannah Edwards

Coordinator

I joined Lavender Crown Events mid-2021 after assisting in multiple weddings with multiple jobs - photography, florals, DJing, you name it! I've had a strong passion for weddings since I was a child and have loved every part of the process so far - especially now that I'm planning my own wedding, too! On the side, I'm a baker for a local coffee shop chain and when I get a free moment, I can usually be found trying out new recipes in my kitchen or enjoying time with my fiancé at Disneyland.
