Michelle Lew
ceo and lead planner
I began wedding planning in 2017 as a venue events coordinator. I was lucky enough to work with a small business where I had the freedom to discover what worked and what didn't. I began Lavender Crown in 2019, earned my B.S. in I/O Psychology in 2020, then my M.B.A. at Santa Clara University 2023. When I'm not planning, I'm with my dogs and plants, working on another entrepreneurial project, or letting out creative spirits with some DIY!
Hannah Edwards

I joined Lavender Crown Events mid-2021 after assisting in multiple weddings with multiple jobs - photography, florals, DJ-ing, you name it! I've had a strong passion for weddings since I was a child and have loved every part of the process so far - especially now that I'm planning my own wedding, too! On the side, I'm a baker for a local coffee shop and when I get a free moment, I can usually be found trying out new recipes in my kitchen or enjoying time with my fiancé at Disneyland.

I had recently joined the Lavender Crown Events team and already it's been such a fun experience! When I'm not assisting with weddings on the weekends, I'm working on corporate events. During my free time, you can find me traveling, wine tasting, baking or browsing bookstores.
Karissa Maunder

I graduated from California State University, East Bay in 2020 with a degree in Hospitality and an Event Management focus, and through Lavender Crown Events, I have been able to pursue what I love! I am passionate about helping create memories that last a lifetime. It has been such an incredible journey and I look forward to being a part of so many more special moments! When I'm not event planning, I enjoy dancing, baking, and recording original piano compositions. Cheers to a lifetime of wonderful celebrations!

I joined Lavender Crown Events as a Professional Dog Handler to include your beloved fur babies on your special day! I’m currently studying at CSU East Bay for my Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. I am a huge animal lover and work in dog grooming. When I’m not working or studying, I’m going on hikes and traveling with my dog, relaxing with my reptiles, or at the gym. "
